Chicks please

I was recently on an Interview and they asked me how I stay informed and inspired. I love to read my favorite blogs and magazines in the a.m with my coffee. It so much fun to see other young peoples interpretation of looks online, its such an amazing resource. But most of all I love LA street style. Walking around the streets and window shopping at the most stylish boutiques helps me see it first hand. One major thing I have learned these days is that no matter how much money you have, you just ant buy style. You can for sure look really good and expensive but I see right through it. Style is with in.... its your confidence and inner beauty shinning through. Work it out ladies.... Have a fab day

ALAIA

Tunisian designer Azzedine Alaïa opened his first Parisian atelier in the 1970s, using the experience he had gained from working for fashion powerhouses Christian Dior, Guy Laroche and Thierry Mugler. He was an instant hit with socialites and Hollywood's elite, including Greta Garbo. Alaïa later launched his ready-to-wear collection in 1980 and was instantly crowned the 'King of Cling'- his signature second-skin dresses and fierce footwear helped define the era's style aesthetic. Fans like Naomi Campbell, Michelle Obama and Victoria Beckham can't get enough of his intricately-crafted footwear and luxurious leather bags.

Crochet - not just for your grandma anymore

Summer is my favorite time of year and being a lady of leisure has allowed me to enjoy the sunny streets of LA. Im totally inspired by crochet everything!
Formerly the stuff of craft fairs and doilies, crochet is slowly shedding its homespun image and becoming chic. Credit influential fashion houses like Chanel and Issey Miyake for this notable transformation, as their S/S 10 collections shed new light on this decorative knit.
Pair your crochet top shop dress with a panama hat and you can hang with me in Malibu.
