French couturier Madame Carmen de Tommaso established this fashion house in 1945 with an atelier on the Champs-Élysées. Initially launched to cater for petite women (Madame Carven herself stood at 5ft 1in) the label's clientele quickly grew to include European royalty and stars from the big screen. Now, with former Givenchy designer Guillaume Henry at the creative helm, Carven is opening an exciting new chapter in ready-to-wear. Look out for draped cocktail dresses, sleek mini skirts, and loose-fit taffeta coats - featuring Henry's distinctive double-duty spin.
